Hello everybuddies
So, I planned to write a third post yesterday evening, but after an attempt, I concluded I was too tired to make any coherent writing. So, after good night's sleep, I'm writing it now. Now I'll go over things I was doing after posting yesterday.
So, I gave Real Racing 3's AWD Attack race series another go, and after couple tries, I secured a glorious win in a Cup on Laguna Seca in Hyundai i20 WRC. As always it was all about not taking turns too fast, as this game punishes failing at turns really severely - let's just say going off road makes your car slide several hundred meters into a banner. So braking is key. Currently I have three races left in this series - Speed Snap at Indianapolis, Autocross at Mount Panorama, and Cup at Melbourne. I manage to win all this, and I get some shiny gold coins I can spend on buying new cars and further modifying the one ones I already have. This game has around 250 licensed vehicles, so it's rather a long-term project. One of the only complaints I would have is that outside of slight differences from car to car, the gameplay is kind of samey. The amount of different events and race series is through the roof, but I have a feeling I already so everything this game has to offer. I'll keep playing it though, as I don't like abandoning the things I started.
After that, I started working on my Test Drive Unlimited Platinum gameplay of Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS. The car drives really well, so I took it to Merit Alley, which is speed radar race - with the goal of 186km/h average. After couple of tries I succeeded. With video edited and uploaded, I switched to DIRT Rallly 2.0 - man, is this game gorgeous - and after inviting my friend Karol, we played for a while at Poland track. I'm planning to take day off from editing videos just to train driving in this game. I wish I had a working racing wheel though.
Half-Life: Opposing Force was on the menu next. Together with my friend who I mentioned, we taken on the task of finishin all the games in Half-Life series. We're currently really far in Opposing Force - an expansion pack for the first game - and we expect to finish it in one or two more sittings. The game introduces a lot of new weapons and enemies, and expands on the lore, giving a different perspective to the events that happened in the base game. And there was a helicopter too!
Before going to sleep, I recorded, edited and uploaded gameplay video on Volkswagen Tuareg, staying true to what I said about uploading two videos on a channel per day. Now this was a SUV that I liked. What else? Some GTPlanet lurking, and going to sleep. As of this writing it's 9:56AM, and I'm ready to go on with my day - which you'll read about in the next entry.
Till later. Stay tuned and stay safe.
